Information from third parties

We may receive information from third parties when necessary to provide the Services. For example:

  • If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive account information that Google makes available based on your permissions.
  • PayPal provides payment, transaction, refund, and risk-related information.
  • Affiliate and referral partners may provide referral identifiers or campaign attribution information.
  • Shipping carriers and tracking providers may provide shipment and delivery status information.

  • Create and secure accounts, verify email addresses, support password resets, detect suspicious activity, prevent fraud, and troubleshoot errors.
  • Respond to questions, requests, complaints, and other communications.
  • Send service messages, including account, payment, order, shipping, and security notifications.

3. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process personal information based on one or more of the following:

  • Contract: to provide products and Services you request, including processing and fulfilling orders.
  • Legitimate interests: to operate, secure, improve, and support our business and Services, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Consent: where you have given consent, such as for certain marketing communications.
  • Legal obligations: to meet accounting, tax, consumer protection, fraud prevention, and other legal requirements.

4. How We Share Personal Information

We share personal information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including with:

  • Payment providers: PayPal processes payments and may perform its own fraud and risk checks under its privacy policy.
  • Shipping and tracking providers: carriers, fulfillment partners, and 17TRACK may receive order, delivery, contact, and tracking information needed to ship and track an order.
  • Authentication providers: Google processes information when you choose Google sign-in.
  • Affiliate services: GoAffPro receives limited order and referral attribution information used to track referrals, commissions, and related adjustments.
  • Service providers: hosting, infrastructure, security, email delivery, support, and technical service providers that help us operate the Services.
  • Professional advisers and authorities: where reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, establish or defend legal claims, or protect people and property.
  • Business transaction parties: in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not knowingly use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Some referral technologies may use identifiers to attribute a purchase to an affiliate.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep the Services working and remember your choices. These technologies may support:

  • Login sessions, security, fraud prevention, and form protection.
  • Shopping cart, wishlist, language, country or region, and interface preferences.
  • Referral and affiliate attribution.
  • Site reliability, error diagnosis, and performance improvement.

You can manage cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking or deleting essential technologies may prevent account, cart, checkout, language, or other Site features from working correctly.

6. Marketing Communications

We may send promotional emails when you subscribe or otherwise permit us to do so. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting service@fanaue.com. We may still send non-marketing messages needed to provide the Services, such as order, payment, shipping, account, or security notices.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Services, maintain business and transaction records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

Guest cart data is generally cleaned up after approximately 60 days of inactivity. Other retention periods vary by record type and legal requirements. For example, order, payment, refund, accounting, tax, and security records may need to be retained after an account is closed. Marketing subscription information is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion, subject to any limited suppression record needed to respect your choice.

8. International Data Transfers

Fanaue and the service providers described above may process information in countries or regions other than where you live. Those locations may have different data protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. However, no online service, transmission method, or storage system is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and should contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or portability of your personal information. You may also have the right to object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or appeal a decision concerning your request.

California residents may have additional rights to know, access, correct, or delete personal information and to receive equal service when exercising their privacy rights. We do not sell personal information for money or knowingly use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To exercise a privacy right, email service@fanaue.com. Please describe your request and the email address associated with your account or order. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We may deny or limit a request where permitted by law, including when information must be retained for legal, security, fraud prevention, or transaction-record purposes. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

11. Automated Processing

We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you. Payment providers such as PayPal may independently use automated fraud and risk checks under their own policies.

12. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact service@fanaue.com so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

13. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may link to or integrate with third-party services. Their handling of personal information is governed by their own privacy policies, not this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review the policies of services you use, including PayPal and Google.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Services, our practices, or applicable law. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
